The Pariente Law Firm, P.C., a criminal defense firm in Las Vegas, is pleased to announce our yearly scholarship. Each year, we will give away a $1,000 scholarship to any student applying for law school or already attending law school. The winner will be based on a written essay that the applicant will submit to The Pariente Law Firm via the “Scholarship” page on our website.
The subject for the 2017 scholarship is, “Why do you want to be an attorney?” If you have a passion for Family Law, Criminal Law, Personal Injury, or other any type of law, we want to hear all about it.
Attorney Michael Pariente takes this scholarship to heart. His parents came to the United States as foreign students on scholarships and he was fortunate enough to have financial help from them to attend law school but understands that many students don’t have that luxury.
“Since I was a child, education was a priority for my parents. Thankfully, my parents helped me with the cost of higher education. This $1,000 scholarship is for one person who writes the best essay on why he or she wants to become a lawyer,” says Mr. Pariente.
The deadline for the essay is September 1, 2017, and the winner of the scholarship will be announced on September 15, 2017.
This scholarship is for law students or potential law students. However, we will have a general education scholarship launching at the end of this year.
